NSU Motorenwerke AG was a manufacturer of military vehicles during WWII. It was founded in 1873 and had its headquarters in Neckarsulm (?), Germany.
Besides the military vehicles NSU also produced civil vehicles like cars and motorcycles. The company reached some acclaim as it was innovative in its development, with for example the production of the rotary Wankel engine. The company was taken over by VW in 1969 and was merged in Audi.
