Does anyone know the purpose of the yellow/red markers painted on the rear corners of these MBT's.

They are on the back of all US Army vehicles, to enhance visibility on road marches. Basically to stop people driving into the back of them!

Thanks for the info, the British Army fitted something a bit bigger to most of its A vehicles so I should have realised their purpose.
