M113 C&V Koninklijke Landmacht

Another example of the driving museum vehicles from the Dutch army. This is a M113 C&V.

In 1966 the first of the 250 M113's went in service with the Royal Dutch army. In the second part of the 70's the original 12,7 mm machine gun was replaced by a 25-mm Oerlikon-rapid fire cannon. In 1994 the M113 was replaced by the YPR-765.

See picture #3792 for info on the M113.

This isn't an M113. It's an M114, completely different chassis. Notice the four roadwheels, not five, and the frontal hull slopes.

This IS for 100% a M113 C&V. Worked with this vehicle in my active army time. The only difference is that in the Netherlands they replace the .50 for a 25 mm rapidfire Oerlikon canon.
