I am no expert, yet :), but this doesn't look like the AMX-10 RC or P to me.... anyone able to help with the identification? Or put me right?

This is a Sovjet built BMP-1 withs came from the East Germany Army. It is not a AMX-10.

Sorry, Louis, but that is BMP-2, not 1. They served and are serving in many armies through out the world.

this a russian army b m p 1 as well as used by both russian and arab armies and not a french a m x 30 as u web photo state s the a m x 30 was a infantry personal carrier with a one man turret near the front and one rear door for infantry to dismount from the b m p 1 as depicted look s nothing like the a m x 30 check french army photo s from the 1960 s and 1970 s

Agreed, it is a Russian made BMP-2, Infantry Fighting Vehicle, 3 crew +7 infantry. The BMP-2 has a new Gunner's sight, commanders night vision sight, upgraded fire control system, automatic grenade launcher, multi fuel turbo charged engine,new A/C, new driver's device and a 30 mm cannon

this is no doubt soviet BMP-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the different between to the BMP-1 is the smaller 30mm gun and the bigger turret of the BMP-2
