Don't know about the rest of the world, but in the US this is a pickup, or truck. Blazer was the designation for 2 door unitized body with a removable fiberglass back-half cover.

Weren't the CUCVs Chevrolet K series ?

Yes, the M1009CUCV was a "Blazer" body shell, but the photo above is of a CUCV pickup with a seperate bed, detached from the cab structure. A Blazer is open from the drivers compartment (cab)all the way to the tailgate. It is topped with a fiberglass top the attaches to the back of the open cab to make a continuous body shell from cab to tailgate.
I did not mean to infer that Blazers were not used by the military, only that this particular photo happens to be of a pickup, and not a Blazer.
Sorry if there was any confusion, and I hope this clears up my previous comment.
