Armoured recovery Vehicle Persuader at Duxford

Introduced in the 1950's, 'Persuader' is a development of the British Army Conqueror Gun Tank. It is a recovery vehicle designed specially for the recovery of Conquerors, which owing to their weight, couldn't be recovered by anything else at that time. As far as I know this one is the only Recovery version left now. It lives at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford in Cambridgeshire South East England. This view dates to c1998.
